How to report a problem

So we can find the cause without access to your server, attach the details below. The more details, the faster the answer.

Build a report

Check these first

  • The panel opens over https://your-domain, not http:// and not by IP. If it only works over HTTP or IP, SSL is not set up and some features break (UUID generator, copy). Fix HTTPS first.
  • The panel version is current: run v2raytunsetup update on the server, then v2raytunsetup status.
  • Ports 80 and 443 are open on the panel server and not taken by another nginx or caddy.
  • DNS: the A records of the panel and subscription domains point to the server IP.

If the subscription is empty or won't load

Check the whole chain: an empty subscription is almost always caused here.

  1. 1A Config Profile with an inbound (the inbound must have a tag).
  2. 2A Host (Hosts section) bound to that inbound. Without a host the subscription is empty.
  3. 3A user in a squad that has that inbound assigned.
  4. 4An online node that actually runs this profile.

  • Screenshots of Nodes, Hosts, Squads and the Config Profile (expanded).
  • A screenshot of the full error text (toast or banner).
  • Logs (see below) as text, not as an image, if possible.

Run these over SSH on the server and attach the output as text.

Panel status and version

v2raytunsetup status

Backend logs (last 50 lines)

Caddy logs (if the domain or SSL fails)

On the node server (if the node is offline)

Common causes

  • Empty UUID in Tools, can't copy

    The panel is open over HTTP. HTTPS is required.

  • “Subscription not found / disabled”

    The user has a device (HWID) limit, and a browser without HWID is blocked. Or the user status is not ACTIVE.

  • The subscription is empty

    No Host for the inbound, or the inbound has no tag, or the user is not in a squad.

  • Node online, but the client shows “n/a”

    The node profile has no working inbound, or the inbound had no tag. Update to the latest version.

  • “Won't connect” though the node is online

    The host has Security: TLS while the inbound is Reality. Set Security: Default.

  • Hysteria2 won't connect

    Don't write certificate paths by hand. Create a node with the HYSTERIA2 protocol: the certificate and config are generated for you.

  • SSL won't issue

    The DNS A record doesn't point to the server, or port 80/443 is taken by another service.
